• Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Conception Seminary

• Half a decade of youth ministry

• Half a decade of traveling catechesis

• Self awareness that I’m not a mystic, but I sure can learn from them!

My Story:

• Born and raised in small town Iowa, I grew up in a deeply catholic family. After being taught through a mix of catholic school and homeschooling, I attended Benedictine College to study chemical engineering. Throughout my formative years, I was a firm believer in the mindset that you only really understood something if you figured it out yourself. Spoilers, but that mindset would be dismissed. During my time at Benedictine, I felt the call to enter seminary and through the diocese of Sioux City, attended Conception Seminary College. During my time there, I gained a great appreciation for using the knowledge and holiness of the saints and great theologians to guide my path. After graduating from minor seminary with a philosophy degree, the Lord called me away from the path to priesthood. I worked various jobs for a few years while finding my path and ending up getting into youth ministry. Most recently, I was the Co-Director of Youth Ministry at Church of the Ascension in Overland Park, KS. During that time, I met my beautiful, supportive, “keeps me on the straight and narrow” wife. We married in 2023! After my years working in youth ministry, I felt the call to pursue a speaking career. I’ve now presented at many churches, schools, youth groups, private meetings, and more across several states in the Midwest area. Through all of this, I’ve become even more convinced that the knowledge of those who have gone before hasn’t lost relevance, but is more relevant than ever! I keep reading and am always learning. I wish others the same so that we can know, love, and serve the Lord in this life, and be with Him forever in the next! Let’s be Saints!
